I absolutely love this quote from Alice and Wonderland. You could interpret it many different ways – but for me, I consider this a big splash of water in my face that “forever” isn’t a guarantee. In fact, it’s a reminder that “forever” could be as short as One.More.Second.
It isn’t realistic, or even healthy, to live every day like you were dying. However, I also don’t think it’s healthy to constantly be talking about tomorrow. What are things we can go today, that provide value to others, and give ourselves and our family joy? What is on your bucket list? Why aren’t you checking off those check-boxes? What are your excuses, and what’s your plan to overcome them? Because, you know, that you are the only one who can.
